Statistics Minor Field of Study

Prerequisites:

 (8 hours)         MATH 151-152 (calculus) or equivalent.

Required Lower Division Courses:

 (6 hours)         STAT 211-212. (STAT 301, 302 or 303 cannot be substituted for STAT 211.)

Directed Upper Division Electives:

 (9 hours)         selected from STAT 407, 408, 414, 415, 485, 489 and MATH 411.

                        STAT 485 or 489 must be approved by the Statistics Department.

                        Substitutions must be approved by the Statistics Department.

Total Credit Hours, not including prerequisites:

 (15 hours)      

Additional Requirements:

                        Student must earn a C or better in any course used for the minor.

                        Courses for the minor must be approved by the Statistics Department.
